• DITO filed formal cases against Globe and Smart for allegedly "abusing their dominant position" when it comes to interconnection deals. Basically sinabi nila pine-perya sila ng dalawang giants.
• The feud is partly about "fraudulent calls" — may issue about certain calls na hindi properly interconnected between networks.
• Globe hit back by slapping DITO with an interconnection penalty right after the anti-trust complaints were filed. Medyo suspicious ang timing no? haha
• An Inquirer editorial basically told DITO "don't complain, compete" — parang ang message nya, put up or shut up.
• Sa mas magandang balita, OFWs in the Middle East can now get free calls back home sa Philippines. Check nyo na lang sa Gulf News for details kung pano.
