Gday guys, I live in a 2 story house, nahihinaan ako sa wifi signal ng modem na provided ni pldt. Help me decide if I should buy a mesh or a router.

We have 500Mbps plan ni pldt. If router bibilhin ko kelangan pa ba ipa bridge mode sa isp yung modem namin? Nabasa ko sa ibang forum capped daw sa 100Mbps yung speed sa 3rd party router kung di naka-bridge mode, Tama po ba?

kung malaki bahay mo at madaming dead spot, go for mesh

Would recommend taking a look at MikroTik products, very versitile

We're using a TP-Link Deco wifi mesh system. Works well for us! No more dead spots in the house. Just make sure to set it up correctly since we initially had signal weird drops. I had to turn off WiFi broadcast on the main router to avoid interference with the 2.4 and 5 GHz signals of the mesh.
