You can use raspberry you as server.

Use case:
1. Auto backup your website via FTP.
2. Network Wide Ad-Blocker using PiHole
3. Streaming server solution using Restreamer
4. NAS and many more

Using a Raspberry Pi offers several advantages, even if your computer can handle the same tasks. Here are a few reasons to consider:

  1. Cost-Effective: Raspberry Pis are relatively inexpensive, making them great for projects where you want to minimize costs.
  2. Low Power Consumption: They consume much less power than a typical computer, making them ideal for always-on applications or projects where energy efficiency is key.
  3. Compact Size: Their small form factor allows for flexibility in placement, making them suitable for embedded projects or limited spaces.
  4. Learning Tool: If you’re interested in learning about programming, hardware, or electronics, a Raspberry Pi is a hands-on way to experiment without the risk of damaging a more expensive machine.
  5. Dedicated Projects: You can dedicate a Raspberry Pi to specific tasks (like a media server, web server, or home automation hub) without interrupting your main computer's use.
  6. GPIO Pins: The GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) pins allow you to interface with sensors and other hardware, enabling projects that a standard computer can’t easily do.
  7. Community and Resources: There’s a large community around Raspberry Pi, with plenty of tutorials and resources available, making it easier to get started on new projects.
  8. Customization: You can set up a Raspberry Pi with different operating systems and configurations tailored to specific tasks.
