Not really, one of the main reasons na maisip ko bakit andaming clout sa kanyang issue is homophobia. Kasi if we're talking about 'bastardizing' the image of Christ eh andaming examples of straight men doing the same and all they get is a laughter or comments of 'minus langit points' but never became much of an issue(Ex. Madaming ibang paraan para magviral at makapagpasaya ng tao. Bakit kailangan pang idamay ang relihiyon ng ibang tao. I myself am not a religious person. I just dont unbelieve, whatever works for you man, you do you. Respetuhan lang. Wala naman sigurong masama dun.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion/feeling. The real question is does it violate the principle of freedom of speech and expression, or not? No matter how sacrilegious, blasphemous, homophobic, bigoted your statement is as long as you are not breaking the law ur good. That is part of free speech and expression that everybody should be thankful for.

If you exercise free speech that offends someone, prepare to receive free hate speech from them as well.

Freedom works both ways. He is free to do what he wants, same concept, other people also is free to do what they want and since ginawa naman niya publicly, it should not be a question why many hate him.
