Strategy games give you that nice feeling after a long, hard fought match knowing that you played hard for the win. It's like FPS but for big think people lol.
Pros is it makes you learn the "big picture" for strategy, and makes you think quick on your feet. Cons is it's hard to master, and multiplayer can be quite frustrating.

Company of Heroes 1 and 2 are good. They have decent tutorials friendly to new players. Just remember it's a learning experience every match.

Massive time sink and steep learning curve. Try playing Northgard, it's on the beginner-friendly side but it's hard to master.
