X3 Nfc or X3 Pro?
My suggestion is use custom rom. UBL first and take custom recovery (orangefox). Use AOSP custom rom for better experience, especially if you didn't like MIUI that much

Yes, the devs only focused on Mi product rather than Poco. That is why many custom ROM has built for Poco product. It's push the user to learn more
