Mga lods, here's what's happening sa PC hardware world lately:
Ano sa inyo, nagbabagay ba yung price hikes ngayon sa planning niyo? May binili ba kayo recently or hold muna kayo? Chismis niyo lang haha.
- RAM prices daw nag-skyrocket because of AI demand — apparently yung DDR4 and DDR5 parehang umaakyat, at baka daw mag-spread na sa phones and tablets. Not good news for builders.
- Mainstream laptops could go up by as much as 40% in price according to one research report. Combined with the RAM situation, parang every component is getting more expensive.
- Some stores are so desperate for hardware stock that they're literally asking gamers to sell or trade in their old rigs. Grabe yung shortage ngayon.
- PCWorld published an opinion piece na ang boring na raw ng PC hardware lately — wala masyadong game-changing releases, puro incremental updates. Honestly, medyogets yung point.
- AI PCs continue to be the buzzword this 2026 — but at this point, parang marketing na lang sa halip na actual useful features for regular users.
- Tom's Hardware still tracking daily lowest RAM prices for DDR4 and DDR5, if you're in the market and want to time your purchase. Sulit i-check before pulling the trigger.
