Here's what's been happening in the PC hardware space this past week:
Ano sa inyo, feeling niyo boring na talaga ang PC hardware scene? Or may something pa kayang abangan this year?
- May mga magagandang deals na nanggagaling for GPUs, CPUs, at SSDs — worth i-check kung may plan ka mag-upgrade ngayon.
- Mainstream laptops daw could jump in price by up to 40% based on one research report. Ouch. Better mag-buy na kung kailangan mo talaga.
- Hardware shortage is getting real — isang major electronics store sa Akihabara, Japan literally nagmamakaawa sa customers to sell their old PCs. "We pretty much buy any PC" na daw sila.
- Computex 2025 wrapped up and AI dominated the show, pero may notable PC hardware announcements pa rin na worth keeping an eye on.
- PCWorld published a hot take na PC hardware is getting "boring" — medyo debatable pero may point, konti na lang ang genuinely exciting releases lately compared to past years.
- AI PCs continue to be pushed hard by manufacturers. Still not convinced it's more than marketing buzz at this point, pero we'll see.
