Its 2024 and I prefer to root pa rin kahit sa high end phones. Less annoying tsaka nama-maximized yung usage ng phone.

Yes, if you know what you're doing. Take time to research and prepare, especially for the worst. Also keep in mind that Gcash (and maybe other online banking apps in the future) do not like it when your phone is rooted. Kahit simpleng allow unknown apps ay ayaw na mag open ng gcash for security reasons

Agree, khit nga di ka rooted basta nka on ung developer mode, nag fe dail na gcash at banking apps which is annoying

Sa XDA Developers site baka mayroon info dun about sa XIAOMI Pad 5. Yung risk nakadepende pa rin diyan dahil ang pag root di 100 percent successful lalo na sa mga mobile phones and tablets na nasa Android v13 na.

But then, it's up to you boss if you still want to try rooting your pad. You should try first sa mga phase out na brands ng XIAOMI tapos saka ka mag trial-and-error sa pad mo po.

Tama ka naman, magkakaroon ng new updated features ang pad mo po once na ma root mo yun, puede mo tanggalin ang mga pre-installed apps na not needed naman, lalo na mga bloatwares po.

would not recommend it, devices are set to default for a reason. Not unless you would put the effort into researching before you do it, just no.
