Mga bagong balita sa MMORPG world nitong nakaraang araw, mga lodicakes:

  • Patay na ang Lord of the Rings MMO ng Amazon — confirmed na nila na cancelled na yung LOTR MMO, pero may bagong LotR game daw silang ginagawa. So parang na-reboot lang, hindi na MMO yung bagong project.
  • Ashes of Creation developer nag-close — ang bilis ng pangyayari, ilang weeks pa lang after ng Early Access launch tapos nag-shut down na ang Intrepid Studios. Grabe yung backlash ng community dito.
  • Riot Games MMO, patuloy ang development — may good news din! Former WoW lead producer sumali sa team ng Riot MMO. So medyo malakas pa rin ang hope para dito.
  • Japanese players niligtas ang sariling MMORPG nila — nung in-announce na maghihinto yung game, nag-tayo ng sariling companya yung mga players para kuhanin yung operational rights. Ang galing ng bayanihan, haha.
  • Steam free-to-play MMORPG na may 80% rating — bago raw sa Steam at mataas rating, pero may catch pala. Worth checking out pero mag-ingat sa hype.
  • PC Gamer article: Mahirap mahalin ang MMOs ngayon — nag-write sila ng piece about how being an MMO fan in 2026 is full of frustration at moving on. Relatable naman para sa marami sa atin.
  • Anong MMO go-to niyo for idling? — may discussion rin sa Massively Overpowered about favorite MMO for just hanging around. Interesting topic.

Anyway, continuing yung news roundup:

  • Riot Games MMO, patuloy ang development — may good news din! Former WoW lead producer nag-post ng update na steady pa rin ang development ng Riot MMO. Matagal pa daw pero hindi naman nakakahinto.
  • Throne and Liberty, bagong expansion na naman — yung NCSoft na MMORPG, maglalabas ng "Shadow of Eternity" expansion this June. Magiging open world na daw yung dating instanced areas.
  • Blue Protocol global launch, na-delay ulit — isa pang delay for the Western release ng Bandai Namco. Walang bagong date pero "later this year" pa rin daw ang target.
