Is there any settings or program to prevent microphone feedback?

I am new in using Linux, specifically the latest ubuntu.

My problem is every time I use my laptop for video calls, the other party always hear feedback from their side. Unlike in windows, you have the option for various settings to improve microphone.

Try mo adjust yung sensitivity ng audio using pavucontrol, package yan.
If hindi gumana hanap ka nalang ng software that does noise cancelling na open source marami naman nyan.

Nice tip! Pavucontrol is really helpful for that. If all else fails, I’ve had luck with some noise-cancelling apps too.

You might wanna check out PulseAudio settings; it has some options for noise reduction that could help with feedback. Also, try adjusting the input levels in the sound settings—sometimes they're just too high. Hope that helps!
