What works for me is how you want to display your results. Gamit na gamit sya sa report type na feature ng app like dashboards. Actually na upskill ko yung knowledge ko sa sql nung nag hands on na ko.

Start with a problem, then google the solution. Build on your newly acquired skill by using the same solution to similar problems. Then repeat steps when encountering new problems. Study existing queries. SQL can get very verbose, I recommend chopping the query down into smaller pieces.
