optional, pero as far as i can remember noong highschool days ko mandatory sa school nmin, yes na enjoy naman nmin khit nabilad sa araw pero nung college optional nlng sya and of course d na ako nag r.o.t.c mainit eh pero dpende prin sa student ewan ko bat umiiyak mga snowflakes

Goods naman ito na kahit parang nstp or p.e lang, isingit lang na subject ba, then optional nalang yung tlgang training and service.

What if instead of ROTC, we focus on our economy and raise revenue so we can upgrade our military resources? I mean soldiers are useless if their weapons are still sturdy bolos lmao

Not mandatory pero lagyan ng mas maayos na benefits para di mawala yung aspect/ part ng ROTC sa Pilipinas

Nope. Imo, mandatory rotc is proposed para gantihan mga youth since youths are usually ranting about the govt. Rotc kasi means they are bound to be obedient.

If you want to make your citizens ready talaga for foreign threats somewhat, why not just mimic yung aystem kasi ni south korea and their mandatory 2 year military service? Much better that yung make believe ROTC
