Depends sa workload mo. If light lang ang workload then air would suffice. But if your workload requires that extra juice (video editing, etc) then pro if may budget

for school and browsing Macbook air is good but professionalor heavy use like video or graphic edits much better perfomance ang pro

I have an M1 Pro and an M2 air. I still prefer the speakers on the 14 inch Macbook pro, but honestly I haven't noticed a performance gap even when both my laptops were M1.
Day to day, even with heavy coding and video editing neither have skipped a beat. The Macbook pros (in general) have higher sustained performance.
