Leading with impact can also lead to an increase in happiness in leadership. When leaders are able to make a positive impact in their organizations and communities, they often feel a sense of fulfillment and purpose. By aligning personal purpose with organizational purpose, creating a vision, building high-performance teams, and leading change effectively, leaders can create a sense of meaning in their work and positively impact those around them. This can lead to a greater sense of happiness and satisfaction in leadership. As the famous quote by Maya Angelou says, "I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." By leading with impact, leaders can create positive emotions and experiences for those they lead, ultimately increasing happiness in leadership.We tie in stories of leaders who creatively apply these concepts to lead communities, companies, states and countries with a happiness factor. What are the possibilities? With clear vision, we see, proceed, and lead. I include my presentation at World Happiness Fest 2023 where I share these stories. By the end of the course, learners will be able to:Identify your values and purpose: To lead with impact, it's important to have a clear understanding of your values and purpose. Ask yourself: What motivates and inspires me? What are my core values? What kind of impact do I want to have on the world? Once you have a clear sense of your values and purpose, you can start aligning your actions and decisions with these guiding principles.Identify areas for impact: Next, identify areas where you can make a positive impact. This could be in your personal life, your community, your workplace, or on a larger scale. Consider the skills, resources, and networks you have at your disposal and think about how you can use them to create change. Look for opportunities to collaborate with others who share your vision and can help amplify your impact.Take action: Finally, take action to create the change you want to see. This could involve volunteering, starting a project or initiative, advocating for a cause, or taking on a leadership role in your community or workplace. Be persistent and resilient in your efforts, and be open to learning and adapting as you go. Remember, leading with impact is a journey, and the most important thing is to keep taking steps forward towards your goals.
