If yes, what do you think is the best engineering major dito sa Pilipinas?
Any engineering courses are worth it. But if you are planning to work in the PH only, I suggest engineering related to technology.

Maganda mag Mechanical Engineering. Pero sikapin mo makahanap sa Ibang bansa. Kung dito ka sa Pinas, maraming hadlang sayo.
~ RMEE ako, pero hindi ko masabing worth it siya kung dito lang din ako sa Pinas. Mas maganda sa ME kung mag Abroad ka. Kasi sure ako, In demand ka, hindi lang dito sa Pilipinas, In Demand ka sa ibang bansa. Marami nangangailangan ng ME sa UAE, kung updated ka sa PSME. Sa Saudi Arabia maganda rin mamasukan. Ninong ko na PNID & Instrumentations Engineer sa Dubai nagtratrabaho sa Planta, mas compensated siya doon compared daw nung dito siya sa Pinas nagtrabaho. Why daw; -- Kasi nilo-lowball mga ME dito satin, masyadong underappreciated mga ME sa Pinas. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit.

Kung sa Pinas ka. Start from scratch ka talaga. Marami ako kaibigan sa Mapua magaganda credentials pero sa maintenance sila nauwi, marami opportunities sa isang company sa Laguna (Hindi ko na papangalanan) kaso hindi ko alam kung bakit yung Recruitment Team nila doon, hindi tumatanggap ng hindi affiliated sa Organizations, gusto nila in anyway naka experience ka ng leadership role sa kahit anong Orgs na meron sa school niyo. I don't want to sound negative, but it's true. PSME na may sabi. Kaya nga mostly ng mga PSME nasa Abroad eh, may UAE Chapter, basta marami. Kasi nga, alam nila at sila na rin may turo, na mas okay Mechanical Engineering sa Abroad.

Dapat sa kilalang engineering school ka manggaling. If hindi naman, dapat marami kang achievements kasi mataas ang competition sa Pilipinas pagdating sa field na yan

Studying BSCE here, I stopped for almost 2 years, eto yung lagi kong tinatanong sa sarili ko. Since kakabalik ko lang sa school, I think worth it pa rin naman.
