I've been thinking about how AI is creeping into so many aspects of our lives, from smart assistants to automated customer service. Do you guys think it's making our lives easier or is it just complicating things more? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences with AI. Are there any particular tools or applications you've found really useful or maybe frustrating?

Personally, I think its both a blessing and a curse. Its a blessing because it helps us solve difficult problems, we can ask it one thing and get a solution, but at the same time, some of us have become so heavily reliant on it that we dont know how to solve problems without it. I know a lot of people like that.

In my work, I pitched a project to incorporate AI into our daily work as an experiment for six months, we used AI to create captions and finf a portion of the video for very long speeches, interviews, or podcasts for posting. After six months of using it, we made tons of progress with AI, and our jobs became much faster.

But when I took the AI tools away because the six month experiment was over, we realized that all 12 people on the experimental team had become heavily reliant on it. They struggled to find good portions of interviews to post compared to when they first started the job.

So while AI definitely helps us, I think it can also make us lose some of our ability to think and analyze things on our own.

A good approach is to use AI as a guide, rather than letting it do the work for you.
