have some basic information about Mathematics a( knowledge of calculus is required - topics such as differential and integral calculus as well as solving algebraic equations)
Have some basic information about physics ( Understanding basic principles of physics, particularly mechanics and thermodynamics, is beneficial. Topics such as Newton's laws of motion, conservation of energy, and properties of gases are relevant to fluid mechanics.)

Topics covered include fluid properties, flow behavior, flow measurement techniques, open channel flow, pipe flow, and hydraulic structures . Emphasis is placed on mastering key principles such as continuity, momentum, energy, Bernoulli and hydrostatics . We will explore the forces at play within fluids, the principles of fluid motion, and the practical applications of these principles in engineering design, environmental management, and beyond.Whether your interests lie in civil engineering, environmental science, mechanical engineering, , the knowledge and skills acquired in this course will serve as a valuable foundation for your future endeavors and as a basis for water management and hydraulic courses .
