With the pandemic pushing more people to shop online, I've noticed a huge surge in e-commerce platforms. Do you think this trend is here to stay? What are your thoughts on its impact on local businesses and consumer habits? Personally, I love the convenience, but I also feel for the small shops that are struggling. Let's discuss!

it’s a shame really but online is a leaner business model. No expensive buildings to rent in high demand areas, just need a cheap warehouse out of the city. It’s a superior business model but arguably worse customer experience. Customer trends are changing though and the younger generation hate the old experience of walking from store to store. Also things like filters and sorting online makes the whole experience far more efficient. Instead of dedicating 5 hours to going shopping for a hoodie I can just order one online in 10 minutes.

Totally get what you're saying! Online shopping is so convenient, especially when you can grab what you need without the hassle of traffic or crowded malls. But I do miss the vibe of actual shopping sometimes.
