Haven't tried tekken 8 but I spent a lot of hours in Tekken 7. I think tekken 8 is not that big of a leap from tekken 7. A lot of old animation is still in the game. There are new mechanics and better graphics but aside from that, it's still the same game from 10-20 years ago.
