I went here to learn more about Linux. nacurious ako because some of my mates are telling me na mas maganda daw Linux. Any recommendations/starting guides?

For distros use linux mint, wag ka makikinig sa mga nagsusuggest ng kali linux, wannabe hackers yan. Di yan pang everyday users. Linux mint goods sa beginner yan pinaka "close" sa windows, which I assume is what you are used to. Beginner friendly rin, by that I mean, di mo need masyado gumamit ng terminal.

Pero you have to not be scared sa terminal ah, inevitable yan.

Honestly, sa experience ko, natuto ako just by using it. Never ako nag basa ng sobrang haba na guide or books. Just use it. Learn as you go ka. Pero keep a separate computer just in case na masira mo. Masisira mo lang naman yan most likely due to copy pasting unknown commands. Good luck!
