I am a desktop guy myself and I do have a gaming laptop as on the go for school. BUT di ko masyado ginagamit laptop ko for gaming, which defeats the purpose. Sana ginawa ko nalang focused word processing notebook ang binili ko kase mahal ang gaming laptop and I wasn't even using it. Pero kung isa lang mabibili mo then I would say go for the laptop. Mind you, ang battery life ng gaming laptop is walang kwenta. Meaning the battery is an after thought for both the manufacturers and End-Users. kasi sino ba naman mag ggame on battery, wala diba. so they built to be plugged in most of the time. don't get your hopes up for your laptop to last a whole day

Kung kaya niyo, bili kayo ng basic laptop para lang sa school work, yung nasa below 20k, meron pa nga yata nasa 15k na bnew and yung specs ng ganitong price are enough para sa school work, para nabibitbit. Then buo kayo ng dedicated gaming pc kasi iba pa rin talaga kung desktop ang gagamitin for gaming.

You really need to choose over portability and performance lods. Meron naman mga pumapantay na gaming laptop pero it will cost you a lot. Pero kung gaming talaga hanap mo desktop talaga

Ihiwalay mo na lang. Laptop na under 40K para sa school. Mas lightweight at mahaba battery. Tapos Desktop PC para sa gaming para sulit ang bayad sa performance.

College student ako and pinag iisipan ko if anong mas magandang bilhin ngayon iniisip ko kse pag laptop pde kosya gamitin for gaming and for school and madadala ko kahit saan kaso is it worth it ba para sa presyo nya?

Depende sa pag gagamitan mo.

Purely gaming, pwede mo iupgrade ang tower mo anytime you want as long as you have enough funds.
That being said, you have more flexibility with your notebook because it's way compact and could easily be anywhere you want which isideal for a student like you or the moment you start working on your projects during internship.

whichever you'll pick, you would go for a decent one which would accept new parts(tower) or would be able to keep up with new ones months from now(notebook)

1. Price to performance, ung PC talaga. Although ang last uprade ko ay panahon pa ng GTX 1070, kaya hindi na ako masyado updated sa mga presyo ngayon. Possible na sa ngayon ay unreasonable ang prices ng mga video cards kaya masisira ung price to performance ng PC.

Nakakalungkot lang na simula noong mauso ang ethereum mining around 2017, nag spike na prices ng video cards.
