Have the chance to test it today at my local shop, had a go at it in their backyard "studio" garden , and it confirmed my initial thoughts.
I had to go with the XT5 today. IMHO, Its really down to how much you enjoy other focal lengths and having the ability to swap lenses.
My other body is an xt30ii. Now i can shoot with my 80mm macro or 90mm f2 and not be front side heavy.

If you love the 35mm look, its pretty much a no brainer to grab the X100VI. I know you can crop in for a 50 or 85mm equivalent, but its not my cup of tea.

i might still get it if I have more disposable funds in the future, but yeah, im sticking with my xt30ii and 27mm WR for my portable load out, its almost the same size.
For everything else, I now have the XT5 to cover.

Cheers!
