• Someone built a basic FPS using Gaussian splats and it's playable for free in your browser — pretty wild tech demo
• Veins of Iron is a brand-new SNES first-person shooter inspired by Wolfenstein 3D and Resident Evil — yes, they're still making SNES games in 2025
• There's an interesting piece from Worldcrunch about war video games and their connection to the real conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza — heavier read but worth checking out
• Vince Staples dropped a music video shot in first-person shooter style for "Blackberry Marmalade" — kinda cool crossover
