Monogatari series: Brilliant plot, great cast, consistent arcs, very creative visuals, amazing soundtrack, best girls, immense character development throughout the series and it had a very satisfying ending.
Land of the Lustrous - an anime that I consider flawless, from the writing to the direction and the wonderful score
Mushishi - another flawless anime, despite the sometimes mild horror it's somehow incredibly relaxing and thoroughly absorbing with a superb score. Not a show to binge watch though, the stories are episodic so it's great to chill out to an episode at the end of the day
Gintama, it is one of the most ridiculous anime ever made which is what makes it so fun. The makers themselves realize it's flaws and make fun of them and the main cast has to be the best I've seen in anime.
But I wouldn't recommend this to someone unless they've watched a good amount of anime and enjoy wacky, slapstick comedy
3-gatsu no Lion. No other show has touched my heart in such a way. It has relatable characters with awesome progression, and I think that the themes are captured really well. I've never related to another anime like that, and I think that every aspect is well-thought-out and well-written.
