Description
More than twelve thousand years ago farming activities have being part of man. Farming to produce food in a way is a very important activity to sustain humanity on this earth because without food production all of us will not leave to this day. Basically a farm is an area of land that is devoted primarily to agricultural processes with the primary objective of producing food and crops, it is the basic facility in food production. Example of farm includes arable farm, vegetable farm fruit farm and poultry farm etc. The population of this world is growing so much that there is a very big responsibility on farmers especially commercial farmers to increase their output and help meet the increasing demand of the market so they can contribute to the current hunger that some of the countries are facing now. Subsistence farmers like me are also encourage to improve and expand their farms to help meet the demands of their locality. Farming have assumed a different dimension to the extend that its now very capital intensive, l edge leaders of the world to agree in principle and as a corrective measure to ensure that resources in terms of finance and machines are available to support the farmers so they can produce more and help stop the hunger in the world. Farmers need to be given free education across the world so that a lot of small farmers can become big farmer with little push which will help the world, agricultural professionals should be sent to farmers so they can help them go through their farming process effectively and efficiently. One of the challenges that many farmers face is the application of the fertilizer, some over do it and it affect the crops and even becomes a very big treat to human consumption.Farming is now a very serious business so farm owner must see it like that and ensure that their employees are well train so they can contribute to the success of the enterprise, because in a lot of situations some farmers employee cheap workers who are not skillful on the farming work, but at the end of the day it cost the farmers a lot in terms of productivity.
