Talagang laganap na ang fake news sa social media. Hindi rin nakakatulong na hindi marunong (or tamad lang talaga) ang mga kababayan natin na mag-fact check. Ano kaya ang puwede nating magawa para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng fake news? Yung mga viable na solutions lang kasi siyempre madali namang sabihin na ipasara ang mga troll farm pero malabong mangyari 'yon.

Ang pinaka-viable na solution sana nagsisimula sa platform mismo. Kung aaksyunan lang sana ng Facebook, Tiktok, at Youtube yung mga nagpapakalat ng fake news, mauubos at mauubos din sila. Kaso money talks ika nga as long as kumikita pa sila oks lang...

This. Kaso nga lang, sa panahon ngayon, yung matatanda pa ang mas prone sa fake news. Yung nanay ko dati madalas nagshe-share ng mga link na obvious (para sa akin) na mali naman. Sila 'yung porket nakita lang sa internet eh totoo na. Mas gullible ika nga.

Agree. Pero parang 'yun na din ang naging main business nila, ang pag-peddle ng maling impormasyon.

Most millenials/GenZ are capable of doing a simple fact check, ang problema lang talaga is that there are people who are incapable of doing their own research and just shares it with no second thought, madalas ginagawa yan ng mga boomer. Yung lola ko nag ffb tas andaming shinishare na fake.
