Description
This course is aimed at people who are learning English or want to improve their English, particularly speaking and conversation skills. It teaches students to properly pronounce numbers and figures in English correctly so as to avoid confusion and embarrassment.
Numbers and figures must be pronounced a particular way in the English language, whether this is British English or US English. The course teaches students how to properly articulate or pronounce numbers from 3 digits up to 10 ten digits along with things like arithmetic (formal and colloquial pronunciations), fractions, decimal, ordinals, years, dates. The course also covers the way we deal with abbreviating large numbers, pronouncing whole large numbers, alternative pronunciation for 4-digit numbers and a few other useful things.
This is a topic that is often overlooked in traditional English courses or by language schools.
The course is designed to provide non-native speakers with more confidence in speaking English either in their professional or business lives or in their personal lives.
The course is taught using a series of videos using both figures and words and a voice over narration to ensure that the student learns to pronounce everything accurately. Everything is explained in a logical and consistent order so as to be easy to follow and learn.
Who this course is for
The course is aimed at people who have already reached lower intermediate level (B1) in English.
