Description
First of all, we humans are social creatures. Making conversations is one of the most crucial skills we can possibly have in today's society. We tend to make relationships with people we like and trust. What build trusts and familiarity? That's right, it's conversations.
Where ever you go, there are opportunities to meet new people. Whether it's in the office, at a coffee shop, at a conference or a social event. The most important aspect in meeting new people is first impression. It takes real skills, practice and efforts to be able to keep a conversation going and make a good lasting first impression.
In this course, you will be placed in scenarios from real life events that I have personally gone through. This is about as real as it gets, there is no sugar coating or unnecessary lengthy "ideal" phrases and scenes. If you work in the US, or Canada you will come across the contents that are taught in this course, from in person to online ZOOM meetings. You might be able to increase your emotional intelligence as well as you become more aware of yourself.
Please do the lectures and exercises one by one, they are designed to have the best learning effect.
The course is structured into 5 parts
The lecture itself, where you will be taught useful phrases.
The sample scenario, where you will experience how these useful phrases can fit into everyday life, at work.
Real world advice, where I will give you NO BS advice from my own personal experiences.
Exercises, for further reinforcement on what was taught.
Exercise answer review.
Please remember to read everything out loud. Learning to speak takes a lot of practice, being able to speak well takes even more practice. This is not a grammar course so the exercises are very straight forward. It's merely a memory reinforcement tool for you to practice more.
