Are expensive proxy services like Bright Data really worth it in 2026?

Been seeing all these reviews saying Bright Data is still the #1 proxy service for 2026, but their prices are still sky-high. At $0.066/GB, it's quite an investment. I've been using Proxy-Seller for my projects and they're decent, but wondering if I should make the switch. Anyone here actually using Bright Data for serious scraping or automation? Is the quality really that much better than mid-range options like Decodo (Smartproxy) or IPRoyal? Or are we just paying for the brand name at this point?
