Best way to learn to code is to actually code something. Follow a python project on YouTube and code alongside the video. Also codecademy is pretty helpful in getting the basics down.
Read the python documentation, it will help you a lot. Try building a small project or system using python e.g. Restaurant Queuing System. Hope it helps, ja.
