Para sakin they make up for being stingy with the quality of their game. Hoyoverse (Mihoyo) has always been like this even before Genshin. In the end, they are a company and they want to make money. About the anniversary rewards being non-existent in-game, there was an amazing OST concert that they published for free and I think that's a better anniversary reward than pixels and code that give you a chance to get more pixels and code.

Music and art in this game is superb. Story is hit or miss. You can play this game for free if you really wanted to. I personally play on and off~
