GET and POST are Http terms po. In context to a REST API, Get is to pull data from a server, POST is to insert or pass data to a server. marami pa yan, meron pang PUT, DELETE, etc. hehe

The GET method sends data via the URL, making it visible and limited in length, while the POST method sends data in the request body, keeping it hidden and allowing for larger data transfers

Mostly visibility ng data sinesend sa target server na pinapadalahan mo.
Imagine mo nalang pag $_GET, mostly pinapakita mo sa lahat yung data (Sharing your name to other people)
Pag $_POST ayaw mo ipakita sa ibang tao kundi sa kausap mo lang (Chismis sa likod ng kaibigan niyo)

Self explanatory. Get is for fetching, Post is for submissions. Default ng most operations is Get. (in general to not in PHP lang)
