In terms of costing, is it really practical ba na mag invest nalang sa on-premise server instead of cloud if we are going to put large databases and applications there? Considering that these processes requires high resources.

much better on-premise server setup po Boss, since large databases and in which yung applications mo will require those databases, better set it up na on-premise.

takaw sa bandwidth yung database traffic ng cloud lalo if laging demand ng applications ay multiple databases.

you could always do a side by side costing comparison per month, and see if the difference in cost would be worth the advantage(bandwidth, transport, parts needed) over the other.

large company po ba si OP?

Much better option is cloud. Since this will be use in production environment. Mas reliable in terms of availability ang cloud. You can search linode, i think they have option for high memory

sabi ng prof namin may mga benefits daw both. gaya ng on premise controlado mo saka less bandwidth yung nga lang upfront cost sa hardware and management. ang kagandahand naman daw ng cloud solution eh pay-as-you-use model sila, naka depende sa pag gamit mo yung babayaran
