Description
Addictions are habits formed in a place of decision. Addiction has been a part of our world for as long as one can count.Addiction has led many to separating themselves from friends, family members, colleagues even from religious institutions. Therefore the need to tackling addiction arises due to certain cogent reasons an individual must have found. Addiction in the first place is seen as a thing on fun before it creeps in and takes hold of an individual's mind and body. Addiction comes in as a creeping gentle beast, as a thing of fun or inquisitive mindset.Sometimes, addicted individuals seeing themselves sinking deep into addiction begins to condemn themselves to the point of even feeling no good than the other. But I bet you there are many people wallowing into addiction than you can imagine. People behind closed doors who may not be chain smokers or serial drunk, but masturbators, homosexuals, phone or game addicts. These people are seeking a way out of this deadly habits. Many regret indulging in these acts after doing it. Many struggle not to touch that substance or engage in that behavior but cannot help it.An individual who may be involved in addictive habits may have had certain reasons to have begun the act without any prior awareness that these habits might be destructive to both ones EMOTIONS or HEALTH or BEHAVIOURAL PATTERN.Addiction therefore, is simply an habitual thing of which has led to this course. The aim of this course is to help anyone who might be addicted to something to come of it. Therefore, discipline is a great prerequisite to conquering any form of addiction. It is important that you have an open mind as you are going into this course to solve a challenge you may be having.RECOVERY IS NOT A RACE! I will be bold to tell you that you cannot just stand up one morning and say you have lost taste for that substance or addictive behavior. Many a times all that is required is a decision to stop and a process to become a better person. Though you might feel guilty going back to what you desire to stop, but do not stop trying. It takes process! For a person who takes 10 packs of cigarette reducing it to 5 the next week, then to 2 packs, then to two sticks per day, then to 1 or nothing. For some, spiritual help is needed, such that one could automatically loose taste for such addictive habits or behavioral patterns.
