Guitar with Micah is an essential course in the fundamentals of guitar playing, designed for beginners, Intermediates, professionals, music students and all those who are interested in learning how to play guitar for as one of their hobbies. The course is mostly designed to take care of a student's goal. However, a dual approach to the instrument will be taught. As an accompaniment for singing: The student will learn rhythms, chords, progressions, strums and finger picking.As a solo instrument: The student will learn the fundamentals of reading music, as applied to the guitar i.e. staff notation, metres, rhythms, scales, positions with emphasis on developing dexterityWhether you are able to or not able to read music, the course is designed for everyone and the learning process is very versatile to accomplish your goal(s). The truth is that many great guitarists don't know how to read music, and many who can read music learned to do so after they learned to play the Guitar. Repeat after me: "You don't need to read music to play the guitar". Chant this mantra until you believe it, because this principle is central to the design of "Guitar with Micah" course.
