There will be the option of changing the colour of your yarn so you don't have to make it in just a single colour. Another option is to add a shell border at the end as a finishing touch.Whilst making the baby hat and booties you will be taught how to increase and decrease your stitches and how to make a tension square (also known as a gauge square). This is very important because you want the finished item to be the correct size.
