I understand your frustration, pero here's my take. The purpose of debates is to show the pros and cons of a certain topic. That involves two opposing forces. Ok ang debate pag sa US ka kasi two party system lang sila Democrats or Liberals versus Republicans, who represent the conservative and the religious blocs in America. Tayo walang ganyan, sampu tumatakbong presidente so it will not really be a debate kasi ang labas ten opposing ideas ang magclaclash. Even the professor Clarita Carlos is dismissing the debates in biased media as hogwash even if she participated in the SMNI debates, she wanted to know what will be the candidates foreign policies would be, which is the forte of the said professor.
Paigsiin natin ang usapan, hindi na kailangan makipagdebate ni Bongbong dahil wala sa mga platform na iyan ang kailangan niyang support base, which is the masses and the silent majority - the loyalists, who has one factor that will differentiate them from the dilaws, and that is their loyalty to the Marcoses which they silently took upon themselves for more than 30 years, until the right time comes for them to come out again and show their loyalty. For the loyalists, wala nang dapat patunayan si Bongbong, hence no need for us to watch the debates, we have already watched the interviews made by Boy Abunda, DZRH, SMNI, Toni Gonzaga, and Korina Sanchez to name a few. The debates are for the undecided, in my opinion, and if you vote for Leni, Isko, Ping and Manny then good for you. But of course for you to tell tens and thousands of loyalists na iniiwasan niya ang mga debates? It is a strategic choice, an intelligent choice actually kasi the things they will bombard Marcos, were and still the same things they bombarded him since his return to the Philippines from Exile.
Check his interviews that I have mentioned, also watch alternative news outlets like SMNI, and you will see a world view that is untainted and untouched by the Liberal Leftists and their Communist allies.
