Not dead, but bastardized. It's as if they only create films just for the sake of being able to release a film, disregarding quality and relevance. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of quality filipino films for the past years but they are being overshadowed by these mediocre films with one or two well known artists. Also with the rise of kdrama and western movies in the country, I doubt the filipino audience would pick a local film over a foreign one.

Since online na karamihan nanonood mga tao ngayon. Tingin nyo yung mga pelikulang pinoy dead naba?

nakulong na kase sa paulit ulit na genre and plot, kaya yung mga indie films sa ibang bansa nilalaban kase dito alaws

I don’t think so. Masyado lang ata tayo tinitipid sa budget ng mga malalaking networks.

Not really, i think shifting to online for movie releases are the way to go

So far buhay pa naman, may mga magagandang movies na ngayon na hindi jologs or hindi naka based sa iisang plot na usual filipino movie or comedy, nag eevolve na ang mga film maker sa pagiisip ng mas magandang movie plot, and nakakatulong na hinhyoe muna nila to get the attention of movie goers making them decide to watch it in the cinemas than wait for it to be available on oline platforms

Hindi pa naman, pero medyo mahina na nga ang pinoy movie industry. Karamihan kasi satin may mga Netflix and other online tv subscriptions na eh.

wala na kasing creativity at very predictable na lang lagi. wala naman sa budget yan cguro kailangan lang ng new generation of writters and directors. Ito cguro dapat gawin ng mga major film producers. Hnd porket batikan na director or writter sila lang ang makakagawa ng quality films. Fresh ideas ang kailangan. wala din sa artista kasi karamihan naman magaling
