Personally I think they're fine on minor roads (residential area, subdivisions, villages, etc.) but on highways??? Hell no. They're a safety hazard especially because one does not need any kind of license or seminar to be able to own and drive one. Keep them out of the damned highway is what I'd like to say.

Goods naman siya sa minor roads. Di siya viable sa highway, masyadong delikads. I've ride one of those before from home to school, its pretty reliable.
