Description:
The SurCode Dolby Digital plug-in for Adobe Creative Cloud products will allow video and audio editors to return Dolby Digital audio support, which Adobe cut out from their products starting from version 2018CC.
The plugin returns the ability to output sound with the AC3 (Dolby Digital) / EAC3 (Dolby Digital Plus) codec.
Additional Information:
Checked under Windows 11 on Adobe Premiere 2022 - it works.
Installation
1. Run the file
Code: select all
SurCode DolbyDigital CC v1.0.1.63.exe
2. In the window that appears, click "Install".
3. We are waiting for a couple of seconds until the installation bar runs.
4. In the next window, click "Finish".
5. Now let's go along the path where the plugin was installed by default (it doesn't matter what OS you have x86 or x64):

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC\Plug-ins\Common
If you do not have this path, then it will be created during installation.
If the unimaginable happened, and the path was still not created, search the C:\ drive for the file:

SurCodeAC3Encode.dll
6. Copy the SurCodeAC3Encode.dll file and paste it along the application paths where you need support for this plugin.
For Premiere:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Plug-ins\Common
For Media Encoder:
Code: select all
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder 2022\Plug-Ins\Common
7. I did not need to restart the computer, it worked right away.
Alternative installation method (for those who, for some reason, the magic did not happen in the standard way)
The distribution contains an already extracted dll-file.
To install, copy it to the desired paths.
The difference between the repack and the official version
The installer is cured of the exorbitant appetite for money - no activation is required after installation.
