SsdReady helps you to predict lifetime of solid-state drive in your computer!
Solid-state drives are the best way to speed up your PC today. Neither a new video card, nor even a new processor, will have as much of an effect. Even better, Solid-state drive prices are falling every day. SSDs are fast: they read information much faster than ordinary hard drives and have seek times of almost zero (when you hear your hard drive spinning up, that's when it's searching for data). They're immune to vibrations and they don't heat up with use.

But there's one problem. Solid-state drive write longevities, at least right now, are lower than those for ordinary hard drives. They're often long enough, but it's possible that your work will cause you to exceed this limit and force you to frequently buy replacement disks. Once their write limit has been reached, Solid-state drives go into read-only mode, where your information is still readable. Even the write limit isn't a problem, however, when you optimize disk writes.

We developed SsdReady tool for Windows so that you can have an idea, ahead of time, of how long an Solid-state drive will last in your computer. It's better to check under real conditions: everybody's usage patterns are different and exact predictions are impossible. At the same time, ssdready will tell you what to optimize if it finds too many disk writes. Ssd life will be under your own control!
