What you'll learn
Railway Geometry Design Using Civil 3D
Highway Geometry Design Using Civil 3D
Railway and Highway Assembly Design
Quantity Surveying for Railway and Highway projects
Requirements
A brief background on Railways and Highways Engineering
Description
In this course you will be able to design highways and railways using Civil 3D, the course will cover a group of sections which will take you in a journey through the development of your project. Section 1: Downloading Civil 3D. Section 2: Importing Surveying Points to Civil 3D. Section 3: Building Surfaces in Civil 3D. Section 4: Building your Horizontal Alignment.Section 5: Building your Vertical Alignment Section 6 : Building your Assembly and CorridorSection 7: Creating Views Section 8: Quantity Surveying Railway ProjectsIn addition to the highway design, the course include a full design of a railway project, in addition to the highway project. Feras Naser is a railway pioneer who has developed many courses in the Transportation field, he is keen to contribute to the next generation of transportation engineering revolution. This course will add your learning in Transportation engineering and provide you with a working knowledge of geometry design for both railways and highways. You will be able to view surveying point in civil 3D, build road surfaces and design your road and railway alignment and vertical profile, then you will be able to design the main elements of the road and railway corridor, publish the relevant reports and product your cad drawings.
