Follow Karl step by step through his retouching and editing process in this sequel toLegs Up Fashion Shoot.

He begins by selecting two images to work with, each one containing elements he wants to use in the final one. To combine them, he uses layer masks, rubbing through to incorporate parts of each one into a new merged layer.
You'll see Karl use the nudge command, the distort tool and the liquify tool, as well as the healing brush and the clone stamp tool. He goes on to use the lasso tool, add noise and Gaussian blur, and make colour corrections by adjusting hue and saturation.
In addition to burning and dodging to boost contrast and three-dimensionality where necessary, Karl creates a solar curve to help him spot any final fixes.
By watching a master at work, you'll pick up a host of useful tricks and improve your post-production workflow.
