We're overlooking one major issue here. The type of vehicle is definitely one cause for concern but the bigger one should be road etiquette and overall discipline, not just from the drivers but all people in general. Unless we can fix that, not even the best public transportation system and plans can help us.

Jeepney modernization is great in principle; the implementation, on the other hand, is terrible if not downright cruel to the jeepney drivers and operators who would have to pray for miracles first before they can afford the overpriced e-jeeps.

Big NO considering the current terms. Kung gagawin nilang friendly for the drivers baka pwede pa. Dapat kasi hawakan na ng government yan. Gawin nalang monthly ang sweldo ng mga driver.

I agree with you in general, but your last point:

I disagree with, society follows the norms, the norms of our roads esp in MM is toxic af selfish drivers rushing and risking everything to reach their destination 3 seconds faster.

If provided an effective method of transportation, (good example of this is EDSA Carousel as an alternative to the old system) better services, it would lead to the lightening of traffic, as there would be less incentive to buy/drive a car/motorcycle if riding a bus, jeep, or a train is more convenient.

Insight: my boss has been riding a jeep since I worked under them coz the route passes through their condo directly to the office, even though they have 2 cars.

Maganda naman siya e. Dami kasing jeep na hindi namaintain, basta makatakbo pwede pa. Yun nga lang ang daming matatamaan at sana hindi pera pera lang ang unahin ng ltfrb. Kawawa yung mga owner operator na kulang sa budget
