How to just have fun painting loose and spontaneously, with no inhibitions or expectations

What you'll learn
Learn to be more free, loose, and expressive with your painting.
Learn to depart from your reference photo and create your own interpretation.
Learn to shed the inhibitions that stop you from being truly creative and having fun (mainly the pressures of showing or selling the finished painting)
Learn that beautiful, spontaneous art can be created by very inexpensive materials that are accessible to everyone.
Requirements
For all levels of painters: from new artists who don't even know where to begin, to experienced artists stuck in a rut.
Very basic painting materials required. I provide a suggested Materials List, but I make a point to demonstrate how accessible painting can be with almost any materials.
Description
Are you new to painting and are afraid of where to begin, or how to approach that daunting blank canvas without "ruining" it? Are you an experienced painter who's just stuck in a rut or tired of tedious long-winded paintings that lack excitement? Are you looking for an emotional, cathartic experience with art that lets you get a lot off your chest? This course is for all of you. I show you how to throw caution to the wind and just paint with a free and carefree approach that makes painting fun again. No one is watching, there are no expectations, and you are liberated to just create. You'll find that your painting becomes a reflection of you, as you get it all out of your head, heart, and soul, and throw it up on the canvas to enjoy. Have a great time painting, and learn a bit about yourself along the way. Maybe it sounds cheesy, but it really is a lot of fun. For painters of all skill levels. I teach this course in acrylics and use very inexpensive materials just to make it more approachable by anyone. You'll be surprised at the beautiful art inside you waiting to burst forth onto the canvas!
